WoW Forever has a singing frog pet you can unlock with one simple emote

And if you played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you should recognise the frog choir.

WoW Forever Zephras Isle Musical Gustjumper location with the little frogs on the rock near the water

If you enjoy collecting pets in World of Warcraft: Forever, there is a cute little secret worth checking out. The Musical Gustjumper is a singing frog companion you can unlock by finding a group of frogs on Zephras Isle and joining in with a song of your own.

You can get it as early as level 1, so there is no need to spend hours farming or tracking down a rare drop.

Where to Find the Musical Gustjumper in WoW Forever

You will have to look for a group of frogs located on Zephras Isle, at coordinates 51.5, 72.3. From Thendal Village, follow the road south until you can cut across a short field toward the waterfalls. You are looking for the top of the waterfall, where a group of frogs is sitting together on a rock.

Do not follow the path too far down past the waterfall. You can get there at level one, but be careful, because you might run into enemies patrolling the area, so if you can take a higher-level friend with you, it might make it easier. Just in case they need to smash some heads while you sing a song to frogs...

How to Unlock the Musical Gustjumper

Once you found the frogs, the rest is pretty simple:

  1. Jump onto the nearby log to reach the frogs on the rock

  2. Target one of the frogs and type /sing in chat

  3. Wait for the frogs to sing back

  4. The group will disappear, and one frog will appear on the log beside you

  5. Click that frog to collect the Musical Gustjumper

That is it! You now have your new musical companion without needing to complete a long quest or defeat a boss.

A Little Zelda Easter Egg

The singing frogs may also look familiar to fans of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The group of frogs seems to be a nod to the game's Fabulous Five Froggish Tenors, a group of frogs that Link can sing to as well.

So, if you are already exploring Zephras Isle or simply want another pet for your collection, this one is definitely worth the short detour. Just remember to bring your best singing voice!
