WoW Forever has a torch that lights up the world, and it is easy to get
Find a fallen guard in Duskwood to unlock a torch that lights your way through Azeroth's darkest corners.

If you have ever struggled to see where you are going in the darker parts of Azeroth, the Night Watchman's Torch is a toy you can pick up in Duskwood in WoW Forever. Getting it is pretty simple, too, as all you need to do is complete a short quest called "An Unfortunate End."
Where to Find the Night Watchman's Torch
To get the Torch, you will need to complete a quest called "An Unfortunate End." It starts at the body of a fallen Night Watch Guard somewhere in Duskwood.
The problem is that the guard does not always appear in the same place, so you may need to check other parts of Duskwood if he is missing. But your best starting point is Raven Hill, where multiple players have reported finding the body near the buildings and an outhouse.

The guard also seems to appear at night, so it is worth checking after 8 PM in-game time if you cannot find him during the day. You can also use this macro to target him while searching:
/target Night Watch Guard
Once you have found the body, pick up "An Unfortunate End" and complete the quest to receive the Night Watchman's Torch. You do not need to be Alliance to get it, either. Horde characters can collect the item as well, but they will have to wait a little longer before they can reach Duskwood.
What Does the Night Watchman's Torch Do?

Using the Torch makes your character carry a burning torch for five minutes. It has a 30-second cooldown, and the light it provides can be useful when exploring darker areas of Azeroth. If you walk in water with it or get attacked by enemies, it will turn off. It also does not work in some cities.
