WoW Forever campfires offer powerful buffs
Camps force you to sit down to get useful buffs, services, and a reason to rest between adventures.
In WoW Forever, a simple Cooking Fire can turn into a cozy Campfire where players can gather, rest, prepare for the next fight, and even connect.
So if you take the Cooking profession, you can now turn a Cooking Fire into a Basic Campfire.
This Campfire will create a shared campsite where any nearby player can rest and gain benefits from profession-made camp features. They basically give professions a bigger role in the world.
Professions and Camp Features
So first, here is a reminder of the professions you can learn:
Primary Professions - You can get only two primary professions, but you can unlearn them and learn a new one if needed.

Alchemy
Blacksmithing

Engineering
Leatherworking
Tailoring
Secondary Professions - You can learn all three secondary professions.

First Aid
To learn a profession, you have to visit a trainer. They are mostly located in big cities. You can also unlearn one by pressing (K) to open the Profession tab and removing it.
Once you have your professions, you can rank them up, and your profession tab will also show the available recipes and blueprints and their required materials.
Each Profession has specific Camp features. All Camping features require a campfire to be nearby and share a cooldown of 1 hour.

How Does the WoW Forever Campfire System Work?
So, now that you know your professions, how does this campfire system even work?
The Camping system starts with Cooking. At skill level 1, you can use a Basic Campfire to cook, and it will create a campsite where nearby players can contribute additional features.
A Basic Campfire can have up to three extra camp features. Each player can contribute one, so you cannot add 2 yourself. You need a total of 3 to 4 players to max it out. One does the camp, and 3 add buffs.
To get the benefits, you need to sit or craft near the campfire for at least one minute. You cannot use any camp feature without a campfire.
As for the cooks, you can upgrade Campfires to allow up to 10 objects to be placed at camp, meaning that eventually, sitting at a campfire for 1 minute can grant you up to 10 benefits at once.
And for PvP players, well... you might want to be extra careful when it comes to placing your camp, because other players can find it.
