WoW Forever brings the Black Market Auction House back with rare gear and pets
The new Goblin outpost sells reworked Classic gear, pets and tabards, with another vendor nearby.
The Black Market Auction House in WoW Forever gives you another way to get your hands on Classic gear, pets, and tabards. Located at a Goblin outpost in the new Riverglades zone, it brings a familiar Retail WoW feature to Forever, with reworked equipment and other items up for grabs.
Where to Find the Black Market Auction House
The Black Market Auction House is located at Powderfuse Port, a small Goblin settlement in Riverglades. You will not find it at Farholde Keep, so head to coordinates 78.1, 51.9 instead.
You can also reach Powderfuse Port by taking the boat from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris.
Two NPCs are waiting at the outpost: Madam Swyndle and Mister Graphed. Swyndle runs the Black Market Auction House, and Graphed sells crafting reagents and other useful items.
What Can You Buy at the Black Market Auction House?
Madam Swyndle offers several pieces of equipment inspired by Classic WoW's Dungeon Set 1, also known as the Tier 0 dungeon sets. However, these items differ from their original Classic versions, so do not assume they have the same stats.
The auction house also lists pets and tabards, giving collectors another reason to check the available stock. Prices vary by item, with some listings starting at around 100 gold.
One of the more notable listings reported by players is the Deathcharger's Reins, the mount associated with Baron Rivendare in Stratholme. It has appeared on the Black Market Auction House for 3,000 gold.
Mister Graphed Sells Rare Crafting Materials
Do not leave Powderfuse Port without checking Mister Graphed's inventory. The vendor sells crafting materials that can be expensive or difficult to obtain in Classic WoW, including Black Lotus and Arcane Crystals for 50 gold each, with no purchase limit reported.
His stock also includes materials such as Fel Crystal, Stranglevine, Pristine Leather, and Frilled Lichen. He even sells Pyrite for 5 gold, despite its reported vendor sale price of just 1 silver.
Graphed's fixed prices could help limit how much players pay for certain materials on the regular Auction House. Instead of relying entirely on player listings, you have another source for these resources.
He also sells the Gift of Galloping for 150 gold. This consumable increases mounted movement speed by 10% for 15 days of real time and stacks with other mounted movement speed bonuses.
With rare collectibles on Swyndle's auction house and crafting materials available from Graphed, Powderfuse Port is worth a visit even if you are not looking to buy a piece of gear.
