Those new WoW Forever mounts and transmog sets are not really coming to the game
The recently datamined assets in the latest Beta build of WoW Forever are intended for another version of World of Warcraft.

Remember those three really cool new mounts we talked about yesterday? They were not the only assets that appeared in the latest beta build for WoW Forever. We also found pets, toys, and transmog sets.
But there is just one small problem with all of these...
It turns out they are not intended for Forever after all. Blizzard has now addressed this, clarifying that the datamined assets are not meant for this version of World of Warcraft.
A lot of players were really excited about these, but were also questioning if their more modern appearance would fit the game's Classic direction. Clearly, they do not, since Blizzard has now confirmed they are for another game. It was simply a case of assets appearing in the wrong version.
A number of art assets were recently datamined in the latest Beta build of WoW Forever.
While we appreciate the feedback and discussion online, please be advised that these assets are not intended for this version of World of Warcraft.
With multiple versions of World of Warcraft in development, it is not unusual for assets to appear in one version even though they are not intended for it. It is definitely not the first time this has happened, and it will probably not be the last!
So yes, if you were excited about getting these mounts in Forever, you will most likely have to log into another game for them. The problem is that Blizzard did not specify which game they are intended for.
I would guess for Retail, but take this with a grain of salt because there is no confirmation. It is just a personal guess based on what they look like.
