Wow Forever Beta is back after a brief launch issue

The problem seems resolved by now, and the WoW Forever Beta should be back online.

The WoW Forever Beta hit a small issue when Blizzard tried to launch the server back up after the Stress Test. There was a short period of time when you could not log back into the game.

Game Producer Zorbix posted on the official forum about it, letting everyone know that they were working on getting things fixed as soon as possible.

Good evening folks,

We hit a small snag while turning the WoW Forever Beta back online. We’re working right now to get it back.

In the meantime, you can speed this up by fully exiting the Battle.net Desktop App to force the update to happen manually.

Thanks!

There has been no update since then, but we can confirm that the servers should be back up properly by now.

Multiple players in the comments have also confirmed that everything was working normally again. So if you encountered this problem last night, you can now log back into the Beta and play! If you are still having issues with login back in, try to manually restart Battle.net and check if an update for the game is available.

As a reminder, the end of the Beta was pushed back by 2 days, so you can still enjoy it until tomorrow, Friday, October 23, 2026.
