The WoW Forever team thanks beta testers ahead of launch

In the meantime, you can pick your ruleset, reserve character names, catch up on all the Podcasts, and learn more about the new content.

The WoW Forever beta officially ended after five weeks of testing, and Blizzard released a brief message thanking players for their bug reports, feedback, and time spent testing, adding that the next few days will focus on priority issues.

But do not worry, there is plenty to do until launch on November 4th!

For those who pre-purchased one of the Skyborne packages, the character creation system will open next week, on October 27, so you can pick a ruleset and a name before the servers go live.

Blizzard will also use the remaining days before launch to address the biggest problems and make sure everything is ready for launch. They did not list any specific fixes in this announcement, so we will have to wait for the launch Patch Notes to see what changes.

Wow Forever Podcast Continues Next Week

If you like Podcasts, you will be happy to know that the WoW Forever podcast will continue next week. Five episodes are currently available, covering the beta launch, class design, dungeon development, PvP, and the end of the beta.

You can catch up on everything through the official WoW Forever YouTube channel.

And if you are curious about the new content, we've got you covered as well:

This should be plenty to keep you busy up until launch!

The WoW Forever Beta is now closed, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us over the last five weeks of playtesting, data gathering, bug reporting, and feedback.

We’re now quickly moving into a period of a few short days where we will do some focused work on priority issues and the game service itself, so that it will be in good shape for launch day on November 4.

And of course, we’ll open access to the character creation system on Tuesday, October 27, allowing everyone plenty of time to select the ruleset that will define your journey and snag the name that best fits your adventurer.

You won’t have to wait until the game launches to make these big decisions.

Also next week, we’re going to continue with our WoW Forever Podcast. If you haven’t consumed it all, this is a great time to catch up with everything the WoW Forever designers have had to say.

If you can’t get enough WoW Forever info, we’ve got all kinds of details about the game right here on our website. You can learn more about WoW Forever dungeons here, and the Campfire system here, and raid details here.

Again, we’re deeply grateful to have seen so many people find their Forever home, and create new communities, and find friends (old and new) to join on the journey ahead.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you on November 4! Thank you very much!
