Geralt brings his two swords to Diablo 4 in The Witcher crossover
The Witcher crossover itself is more than just a Geralt skin, but the rest has to wait until 2027.
We already knew Geralt was heading to Sanctuary, but Blizzard and CD Projekt RED have finally shown us what the White Wolf will really look like in Diablo 4.
During a joint Blizzard and CD Projekt RED panel at BlizzCon 2026, we got a look at the Geralt skin for Diablo 4, alongside a new piece of artwork showing the Witcher taking on the forces of Hell.
And yes, Geralt is looking pretty damn good.
Geralt Is Coming to Diablo 4 as a Barbarian
The Geralt cosmetic is based on his classic Witcher look, with his Kaer Morhen armor style, but mixed to fit inside of Diablo 4, so it looks a bit like a warbear armor, and the two swords he carries for hunting monsters and humans.
Sadly, Geralt will be available as a Barbarian skin only. At least for now.
So if you have ever wondered what Geralt would look like when he is charging directly into a pack of demons instead of carefully preparing for a contract, we are about to find out.
You Get Geralt by Buying the New Witcher 3 Expansion
The good news is that you do not need to grab the Geralt cosmetic during some limited-time window. Blizzard confirmed that purchasing The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past on Battle.net at any point will grant the Geralt skin in Diablo 4.
That includes players who already pre-ordered the expansion as well as anyone who decides to buy it later. So if you were already planning to pick up Songs of the Past, you will have another reason to do it.
And if you were worried about missing the Geralt cosmetic by not buying the expansion immediately, it sounds like you can take your time. However, it only counts if you buy it on Bnet, not on Steam or any console.
Geralt Is Not the End of the Crossover
The Witcher collaboration is not stopping with Geralt, either. Blizzard and CD Projekt RED confirmed that there is more Diablo 4 content planned, but we will have to wait until 2027 to find out exactly what it is.
They are also releasing Cyberpunk 2077 on Battle.net, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners content is coming to Overwatch, so it is not just Diablo 4 that gets the good stuff, but you will have to be a bit more patient for the rest!
