One lucky Chaos Wave can fill the whole Diablo 4 goblin board
Greed Shrines, Subo and cross-network play all help before the event ends November 4.
The Diablo 4 March of the Goblins started yesterday and is only around for a few days. The community has already been hard at work figuring out where the goblins are hiding. In an r/diablo4 thread, a player asked for the best goblin and Butcher farm spots, and players shared their experience with routes, War Plans setups, and tricks for this year's Halloween event.

Here are a few recommendations from the community that you might be interested in.
Infernal Hordes are probably the fastest way to progress if luck is on your side. A Goblin Chaos Wave can fill the entire reputation board in a single run. We recommend that you pick up the Total Chaos node on the Infernal Hordes War Plan activity tree. This gives your Infernal Hordes runs more Chaos Waves. The Burning Butcher will also spawn more often in this activity this week, which makes it a good way to farm your reputation as well as Paragon levels.
Nightmare Dungeon Shrines seem to be the Butcher's home. Greed Shrines in particular have been triggering the Burning Butcher to spawn. Players pair the Goblin Fall and Altar of Avarice War Plan nodes with
Nemesis Bracers so every shrine spawns elites, Goblin Altars, and more goblins. Open World! If you are farming in the open world, you might want to consider turning off cross-network play so fewer players steal the goblins around you. Hire Subo to mark them on the minimap and ride through the dense zones like Scosglen or Nahantu with the full map open.
March of the Goblins Event
If you are not well aware of what March of the Goblins is, this is one of the week-long recurring events from Diablo 4. This time it shares the week with Meat or Treat, the Butcher-themed Halloween event. Both started on October 28 and will run until November 4, 2026.
Treasure Goblins will spawn more often everywhere in Sanctuary, and every goblin kill will count towards progress on the event's reputation board. You can access the reputation board in Kyovashad at the Goblin statue. Each gift on the board is a Goblin Cache. A reminder that different types of Goblins and Caches exist: Baron's brings Gold, Ector's crafting materials, Murl's Obols, Prym's Gem fragments and Runes, and Fedric's Masterpiece will reward you with a 
Resplendent Spark. There are even a couple of cosmetics you can earn by completing the board, if you haven't done this event before.
