Diablo 4 players may want to farm Moophisto before Season 16 arrives

The altar is missing from the PTR, but Blizzard has not confirmed that the cow rewards are leaving.

We have already established that Season 15 was probably the best season since the game's launch. It also contained an incredible amount of new content and secrets to discover.

One of them was the Cow version of Mephisto: Moophisto.

Once you have access to his Altar, you can farm him together with other players for a chance at a rare cosmetic armor piece and a pet called Marquis Milky.

And this is where things might get complicated for Season 16... These rewards may not be obtainable anymore.

A Missing Altar From PTR

Multiple people have now reported that Moophisto's Altar was indeed missing from the PTR.

Now, this does NOT mean that it will not appear during Season 16.

In the official PTR post from Blizzard, they already confirmed that not all Season 15 content that they intend to keep will be present during this PTR, because they want to focus on testing the new features.

So it would make sense that something like Moophisto has just not been added to the PTR because there is no point in fighting him outside of the live game.

You Might Want to Farm Him, Just in Case

The problem is that there is also no guarantee that they will keep Moophisto. And if he leaves, the Bovine Armor and Marquis Milky might leave as well.

So if you enjoy collecting cosmetics or pets, you probably want to farm Moophisto before Season 15 ends.

Given how rare the pet is, we personally highly doubt that they will make it completely unavailable next season. Even if Moophisto leaves, the pet could also be obtainable elsewhere afterwards. It is really hard to guess.

For now, just treat this as a precaution, and not a confirmation that Moophisto or its rewards are going away.

If you still need Marquis Milky or any pieces of the Bovine Armor, farming them before Season 15 ends is probably the safest option. There is no guarantee that they will become unavailable, but there is also no reason to leave that hanging until the last minute.
