Diablo 4 removed a cheap Enigma shortcut one day into Season 15
The same hotfix fixes Rogue damage and a weapon that healed enemies.

Diablo 4 Season 15 briefly gave every class a rather cheap route to get a repeatable version of the Sorcerer's
Teleport, but the fun only lasted about a day. Blizzard has just released Hotfix 2 for Patch 3.2.1, which closes the
Enigma shortcut and fixes three more gameplay bugs on top.
How Stealth Was Turning Into Enigma
Shortly after the new Runewords were discovered, players found unusual results from one of the Horadric Cube recipes. Combining three Ancestral
Stealth Rune Word armor pieces would produce another Stealth chest with the
Enigma power on it. That power changes Evade into Teleport and makes it consume Primary Resource, giving every class access to rapid movement! If your build had enough resource generation, you could use Teleport almost constantly.
The interaction made the effect way easier to obtain than Blizzard had intended. Rather than finding the runes needed for Enigma, you only needed three copies of the much cheaper Stealth armor and one Transfiguration.
Blizzard has now confirmed that this was indeed a bug. Hotfix 2 stops Ancestral Stealth armors from producing a Stealth chest with Enigma's power, and live testing also shows that previously created Stealth pieces have now lost the unintended effect.
Enigma itself has not been removed, though! Based on current player testing, it is still possible to craft the proper Rune Word by combining an item-power-900 white chest armor with
Jah,
Ith, and
Ber. The armor does not need sockets, but since Ber is quite hard to get, it makes this route much more demanding.
Rogue Damage and Two Item Bugs Were Also Fixed
Hotfix 2 also addressed an issue that allowed
Dance of Knives (Rogue skill) to deal far more damage than intended. Blizzard did not provide any numbers for the slight nerf, which means affected builds will have to do some testing to see how much damage was lost.
Abyssal Splinter of the Mother should now also correctly clear its stacks and Stun the player when used with
Leoric's Crown! This fix is important, as there was an interaction that allowed players to avoid part of the Unique Soul Splinter's intended downside. And then there is
Messerschmidt's Reaver, which also got a particularly welcome fix, as the two-handed axe could sometimes heal enemies instead of hurting them, which is probably the last property anyone wants from a weapon.
Blizzard shared the small update with unspecified stability fixes. The Enigma shortcut will be the biggest loss for most players, but an enemy-healing weapon and inflated Rogue damage were never going to survive for long anyway.
