Diablo 4's new no-button Druid build turns Wolves into a lightning army

Wolves, Ravens, and other companions do the heavy lifting in this powerful but easy build.

Diablo 4 Season 15 has given us a rather unusual Druid build. A Storm God setup that lets your companions do most of the fighting for you.

Created by Little Grief, the build handles Torment 12 content and can have around 22-26 companions active at once, depending on your setup.

Instead of relying on constant skill presses, the build stacks companion damage, Storm skill bonuses, and a few automatic effects. Wolves are the main damage dealers, with Ravens and Poison Creeper providing additional damage and helping activate other bonuses.

How the No-Button Druid Build Works

The build revolves around turning your Druid into a companion-summoning machine.

  • Storm's Companion is an important item, giving your Wolves the power of the storm and converting their attacks to Lightning damage.

  • Accord of the Wilds adds another companion to each equipped companion skill, while also providing a damage multiplier and passive effects from Wolves, Ravens, and Poison Creeper.

  • Tornado provide a secondary source of damage. The build converts them into Werewolf skills to benefit from additional Paragon bonuses.

  • Poison Creeper helps apply Poison and activate damage bonuses against affected enemies.

Much of the defence also works in the background. Rune effects help maintain Earthen Bulwark, providing frequent Barrier uptime without requiring you to cast it manually. Additional maximum Life and defensive bonuses help the build survive in higher-tier content.

When it comes to gear, this is what you need to look for:

  • Leoric's Crown

    • Aim for Max life and Damage reduction splinters

    • You can reroll Lucky Hit chance for Ranks to companion skills instead

    • Max Life Temper

    • Slot Eth and Que in there

Can It Clear Torment 12?

According to Grief's testing, the build can farm Torment 12 without requiring perfect gear. His video also shows that it can function without full Mythic items. If you craft Insight as a Mythic, it is already pretty good.

There is still room for improvement. This is his first Druid build, and the Paragon setup and some equipment choices are still being worked on. The exact results will also depend on your own gear.

If you want to try it yourself, check out the full video we linked on top. It is definitely a very fun build to play, and if you were looking for a way to AFK as a Druid... there you go!
