Diablo 4's new Immortal Rogue build spams Rain of Arrows with almost no effort
Melted Heart of Selig turns the build into a tanky Torment 12 farmer.

Just when we thought Diablo 4's Rain of Arrows Rogue could not get any more ridiculous, another version of the build popped up. And this time, it does way more than just spam
Rain of Arrows with one button. You will be so tanky that you can survive Torment 12 Mephisto and make a sandwich at the same time.
And yes, this does involve the Immortal Barb's
Melted Heart of Selig.
The build was shared by Rob, and it can apparently survive pretty much anything with minimal effort.
How Does the Immortal Rain of Arrows Rogue Work?
The build is not really that hard to understand. If you are already playing with the 1-button
Rain of Arrows build, there is not that much to change, and you will already have most of the items ready. The base remains similar.
You will use 4 buttons instead of one this time.
Rain of Arrows,
Dark Shroud,
Concealment, and
Poison Imbuement are the 4 abilities you want on your bar, with the Preparation specialization. Most of the time, you are just casting
Rain of Arrows, keep your defensive buffs up, and the rest works on its own.
Melted Heart of Selig is the one item you need for this immortality thing to work. It increases your resource regeneration like crazy, and any damage you take is directed towards your resource pool instead of your life. This does come with some very strict restrictions, though.
You need around 700-800 Energy, and over 600 Energy regeneration per second. Because the problem is that you still need enough resources to spam cast
Rain of Arrows, but every hit you take also eats your energy.
For
Dark Shroud you want the
Overflow upgrade since it will increase your energy regeneration by a lot. On top of that, Preparation and the
Aspect of Aftermath will make sure your Cooldowns reset as intended. And of course,
Poison Imbuement also helps with your energy and increases your overall damage.
Important Requirements
It is important to understand that this is NOT a beginner build. The gear requirements are pretty heavy, with a total of 8 Uniques and Mythics, including some D2 Runewords that can cost a lot to craft until you get a good one. But on top of that, there are some stats that need to hit a specific number, or it will not work.
473 Life. This is the lowest your life can get, and you need it so low to get the most out of
Melted Heart of Selig700-800+ Energy
35+ ranks of Rain of Arrows. 40 or more is even better, but 35 is the minimum
100% Critical Strike Chance to help max out consistent damage.
Prioritize Resource Generation on your gear, including at least one Resource Generation affix on a ring
Important items:
Melted Heart of Selig for the immortality effect
Beastfall Boots for a large damage multiplier
Leoric's Crown to increase your Gem effects
Enigma for mobility
Insight to help generate Energy. You can use a crossbow for higher damage per hit, but if you already have it as a Bow, it is perfectly fine as well
Can the Rogue Really Farm Torment 12 AFK?
It is probably the last thing you would expect from Rogue! But multiple people seem to already run it, and it does work out. Well, mostly. It is called an immortal build, but there are a few specific attacks that you will have to evade.
We can name Lilith's platforming mechanics, and some of Mephisto's attacks sadly bypass
Melted Heart of Selig and you can get one-shot if you get directly hit by those. So immortal, yes, almost.
But even with that, it is still insane. You have huge damage, near-constant Rain of Arrows casts, you can move around super fast thanks to Enigma, and you can survive pretty much anything, so you can farm whatever you want with zero effort.
And for those who might not be a fan of Poison Imbuement, someone also created a Cold version, and we recommend you check it out as well.
