Diablo 4 finally has a one-button Rogue build that destroys Torment 12

Beastfall Boots and Aftermath let you keep the arrows falling with barely any downtime.

We Rogue players usually have to play the piano with a ton of buttons to get the most out of our builds. But Diablo 4 Season 15 is finally bringing something a little different! Yes, we Rogues are getting a one-button build. There is a new Rain of Arrows setup that lets you spam your Ultimate almost endlessly, without worrying about a complicated rotation. Rob shared this build and how it can take down Torment 12 Uber Mephisto. All you need to do is hold down Rain of Arrows and use Evade to move around. And if you are willing to add a few more buttons, the build can get even stronger.

How Does Infinite Rain of Arrows Work?

The whole build is based on three things:

  • Beastfall Boots

  • Aspect of Aftermath

  • Preparation specialization

Beastfall Boots make Rain of Arrows consume your available Energy when you cast it, Preparation reduces your Ultimate cooldown based on the Energy you have spent, and Aspect of Aftermath restores Energy when you use your Ultimate. Once you reach the necessary Energy and cooldown, you can pretty much hold down Rain of Arrows and watch the arrows fall like Rob in the video:

You will want around 300 Maximum Energy, a Rain of Arrows cooldown of around 20 seconds, and plenty of ranks in the skill to get everything working as intended.

One Button Is Enough, but You Can Take It Further

The basic version is already capable of clearing Torment 12, including Uber Mephisto, without needing a full skill rotation. But if you do not like one-button builds, or you simply want to do even more damage, there is a version using Cold Imbuement, Concealment, Dark Shroud, and Rapid Fire. These give you additional damage, survivability, and crowd control. Rapid Fire is really good for activating the damage bonus from Banished Lord's Talisman, and the Cold Imbuement lets your Rain of Arrows freeze enemies. You can also use Enigma to teleport between enemies.

Rob clears Pit 120 in approximately 1 minute and 20 seconds in his video with this, and he also believes the optimized version can reach Pit 150, but you would have to try that to confirm it.

Do Not Expect to Reach Torment 12 With Just Two Items

Keep in mind that the builds that are showcased in these videos are maxed-out builds. The gameplay is simple, but getting it to work properly requires a lot of investment. You need enough Maximum Energy, Cooldown Reduction, and Rain of Arrows ranks to make it work. Just putting on Beastfall Boots and Aspect of Aftermath on a new level 70 Rogue will not magically give you the ability to destroy T12.

Rob's character is already Paragon 300, with multiple Greater Affix items, high-level Glyphs, and other powerful gear. All of that contributes a lot to the damage you see. This is more of a build to work for once you can easily farm high-end gear. But if you are tired of complicated Rogue rotations and have the items to make it work, it is a pretty relaxing build to play.
