Farming Enigma in Diablo 4? These Cube recipes can save you hours
From quick Baal runs to hidden Cube recipes, there are several ways to get your Runes.

Enigma is one of the most interesting Runewords added in Diablo 4 Season 15, especially if you are playing a build that could use a little more mobility. After all, being able to
Teleport around Sanctuary without playing a Sorcerer is pretty hard to pass up. Unfortunately, crafting one requires three specific Runes, including some really rare ones. And if you have been farming for either of those, you probably already know how annoying that can get.
Thankfully, one player shared a few ways to make this a little easier, including some Horadric Cube recipes that might save you quite a bit of farming.
Start by Farming Baal's Worldstone Keep
Before you start running around Sanctuary looking for Runes, equip your
Splinter of Lies to benefit from the additional crafting material drops, and head to Worldstone Keep, Baal's new Capstone Dungeon. You can also do the other Captones, but Baal's is relatively quick to clear, and you can also farm for Royal Gems at the same time. Those are useful for other Cube recipes and upgrading your existing Gems, so you are getting something out of your runs even when the Runes you need refuse to drop. Diablo and Mephisto's Capstone Dungeons are just too long for farming. It takes ages to reach the boss's room.
Combine the Proper War Plans With Kurast and Lair Bosses
If you have had enough of running Worldstone Keep, there are a couple of other activities worth adding to your farming rotation. Kurast Undercity is a good alternative, especially if you have a
Greater Tribute of Harmony available. You can also use the Gutter Filth War Plan node to improve your runs. This activates the Portal Pranksters.
Lair Bosses are another option, and there are two War Plan nodes worth looking out for:
Lair of Runes
Lair Bosses have a higher chance of dropping specific Runes
Greater Nemesis
Gives access to Greater Nemesis Lairs, and these can reward a ton of materials for the Cube or Runes, on top of a huge amount of gear
These give you additional opportunities to collect Runes without spending your entire day in the same dungeon.
Do Not Forget That You Can Craft Runes
This is where the Horadric Cube becomes particularly useful.
Enigma requires
Jah,
Ith, and
Ber, but you do not necessarily have to find all three as direct drops. If you have a few spare Runes lying around, there are a few recipes that can help you work toward the ones you are missing. People tend to forget that you can use lower-level runes to craft Legendary ones.

Yes, sadly, crafting Runes is kind of expensive when you still need another
Ber for
Enigma. It is worth checking what you already have before sacrificing any valuable Runes. And do not throw away all those lower-tier Runes! Even if they are not the ones you are looking for, they might still be useful for your next Cube recipe, or you can trade them at the Jeweler for a chance of getting something better.
Once you have finally collected all three Runes, all that is left is to grab a Common Chest Armor and head to the Horadric Cube. If you are crafting
Enigma for an endgame build, try to use an Ancestral base so you do not waste your mats on an item you will want to replace later.
Enigma replaces your Evade with Sorcerer's
Teleport, making it especially interesting for builds that want to move quickly between enemies or rely heavily on mobility. It is definitely a Runeword worth farming for.
