Overwatch Mystery Madness brings chaotic powers and free rewards
Overwatch's Halloween event adds new powers, community Hero votes, and weekly free rewards.

Overwatch has already started the Halloween festivities with the new limited-time event called Mystery Madness: Graveyard Games. You have from October 6 to November 2 to get all the rewards. The event introduces a new chaotic game mode where you can pretty much create all-new characters with your favorite heroes.
How Overwatch Mystery Madness Works
In Graveyard Games, you start by choosing between three randomly selected Heroes. You can also select the Random option for a bonus 20 Event XP if you want to leave your fate entirely in the game's hands.

When the match begins, you can pick your first power. As the match goes on, you gain XP, and you can unlock more unique powers. If you die, you can get an additional power directly each time, so every death gives you another opportunity to build a better character. Depending on your choices, you can completely change how your Hero moves, survives, or fights.
You can complete challenges to earn Offerings, then pledge them to Ashe, Moira, or Winston. The Hero receiving the most Offerings is summoned into the mode next, with all three expected to join by the final week. Offerings also grant Battle Pass XP, so you can make progress on your pass at the same time.

Weekly Rewards Include 16 Loot Boxes
It would not be a good event if Mystery Madness did not also come with weekly Event Passes featuring Halloween-themed rewards. The first week's challenges include Doctrine cosmetics, such as voice lines, a Crimson Regent name card, a spray, and a player icon. You can also earn four loot boxes and Battle Pass XP.

There is more to unlock over the course of the event, including player icons for Cassidy, Zenyatta, and Reinhardt, additional name cards, voice lines, sprays, and a weapon charm. You will get a total of 16 loot boxes as well as the Legendary Inflatable Reinhardt skin.

It is really a fun event, and we can only recommend that you participate. Most of the challenges can even be completed through the normal mode, so if you do not like the specific event mode, you can even get most stuff by just getting your normal dailies done.
And if you want even more free rewards, do not forget the current Twitch Drops campaigns!
