For some of you, launch is only a few hours away now, and for others, there is still around a day left. But either way, WoW Forever is coming, and there is a lot you might not even be aware of.

This is why Blizzard has just released a 30-minute launch overview for World of Warcraft: Forever.

If you want one last detailed look at the new content and systems arriving with the game's launch on November 4th, you should definitely watch it. The video covers everything from new levelling zones and class abilities to professions, Legacy Points, battlegrounds, and upcoming raids.

So yes, it is not your traditional cinematic launch trailer, but it is a sort of guided tour of what awaits players in Azeroth.

Blizzard spends considerable time showing off the new areas, including the Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, and Zephras Isle, the starting zone for the new Skyborne race.

The guide also goes over new race and class combinations.

  • Dwarves can become Shamans

  • Forsaken can play Paladins

  • Human Hunters

  • Gnome Priests

  • Troll Warlocks

  • Orc Mages

New Abilities, Professions, and Progression Systems

Class changes are the center of the video, with dedicated segments covering new abilities for Feral Druids, Hunters, Paladins, and even Rogues.

This little guide also explains how Hunters can now make better use of their pets. You can obtain different species that are gaining access to some more specialised abilities.

But classes and combat are not everything. Blizzard also goes once more over the new Legacy system. You get points for completing activities such as levelling, professions, and running specific dungeons or raids. These points will then unlock cosmetic rewards and character progression bonuses.

And of course, it would not be an introduction guide if it did not go over campsites. These let you gather around a shared campfire to access buffs, repairs, vendors, and even profession workshops.

For PvP fans, Blizzard introduces Darkspear Islands, a new 15-versus-15 battleground where you have to capture locations and deliver a flag.

The overview ends with the new dungeons and raids. You can check out Alcaz Island Prison, Blackmaw Hold, and even Shaper's Terrace. The first raids, Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia's Lair, are scheduled to open on December 9.

World of Warcraft: Forever launches globally on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PDT, which is midnight on November 5 in most of the EU, so get your day off and get ready!
