Diablo 4 Season 15 makes the Horadric Cube much more useful
Reroll unwanted affixes, protect your Greater Affixes, or turn a perfect Unique into a Mythic.

If you like playing around with the Horadric Cube, you will be happy to know that it is getting a small upgrade in Diablo 4 Season 15, and some of the new recipes are really good. Obviously, you get the new way to turn a Unique directly into a Mythic, but Blizzard is adding two additional recipes that give you more control over the affixes on your gear, Charms, and Seals.
We already went over the Mythic part in another article, so we will only detail the other two recipes here!
Reroll Your Affixes Without Destroying Anything
The first new recipe is called Affix Value Reroll, and this one could be even more useful for everyday gear. It basically lets you reroll all of an item's base affixes, but it also protects the parts of the item you have already invested in.
That means Greater Affixes, Enchanted affixes, Tempers, Masterworking, and Transfigurations are left alone, as long as the Transfigured item is still modifiable.
So if you have an otherwise great piece of gear with terrible base affix values, you can try to fix those stats without throwing away the Greater Affix or Tempering you have already worked on.
That is a pretty big change in the risk involved in trying to improve an almost-perfect item.

Charms and Seals Get Their Own Reroll
The second recipe is called Horadric Reroll, and this one is specifically for Charms and Seals.
It works on Legendary and higher-quality Charms and Seals and completely randomizes their base Affixes. It does not touch the item's Set Bonuses or Unique/Mythic powers, so the defining effect you have stays as is. For Seals, the recipe also leaves the Charm Set Bonus Affixes alone and only randomizes the base Affixes.
So if you have a Charm or Seal with exactly the power you need but awful base stats, the Cube gives you a chance to fix it now.
Basically, now you can use the cube to take a carefully crafted Unique all the way to Mythic quality, repair bad base affixes without throwing away your expensive upgrades, or take another shot at the stats on Charms and Seals. And unlike a lot of Diablo 4's crafting systems, you get to keep the important parts of your items this time!
