Diablo 4 players have found a good way to farm Paragon XP in Season 15

Splinter of Damnation and Goblin Chaos Waves can make group levelling incredibly fast.

Infernal Hordes are often the endgame activity that everyone tries to avoid in Diablo 4. It takes a lot of time, and the rewards are not considered that good for the time investment it is. And unless you hit a lot of Chaos Waves, it is not the most efficient activity to do after a certain level.

However, Diablo 4 players have found another reason to run Infernal Hordes in Season 15, with a group strategy that can grant multiple Paragon levels in a really short time. We found reports of players going from Paragon 273 to 279 during a single Chaos Rift encounter, thanks to the Abyssal Splinter of Damnation and a particularly rewarding wave of enemies.

The trick plays around increasing Monster Power but keeping enemies easy enough to kill. And if you get the right Chaos Wave and have a strong damage dealer in the group, your Paragon XP bar can increase really fast.

How the Infernal Hordes XP Trick Works

The main item you need is a Abyssal Splinter of Damnation. This is one of the Season 15 Soul Splinters that you can socket into jewellery (or into Leoric's Crown.

Jewelry: Killing an Elite Pack increases Monster Power by 1 and Experience gained by 25% for 25 seconds.
"We have come for you. Our neglected kin. To cleanse you of the sin of Heaven. Only with us will you find salvation. Join us. Immortality... awaits you."
-Skarn, Lord of Damnation
You do not need the Unique version. The Legendary one is already good enough.

With this Splinter, killing an Elite pack increases Monster Power by one and grants 25% additional experience for a limited time. The Unique version lasts 25 seconds, allowing you to build up the bonus by repeatedly killing Elite packs.

So if you go in with a group, one of you equips a Abyssal Splinter of Damnation, and the others do not.

Make sure you increase the chances of getting a Chaos Wave through your War Plan.

During a Chaos Rift encounter, you will get a ton of enemies and Elites spawning. Your Monster Power will climb to around +125 to +150 on Torment 12, and the resulting kills grant enough experience to jump up to 6+ Paragon levels.

The idea is to have one player build up the Monster Power and experience bonuses, and the other players handle the killing. That way, the group can take advantage of the increased experience without making every enemy unnecessarily difficult to defeat.

And then you swap around who wears the Abyssal Splinter of Damnation so everyone can benefit from the bonus XP.

And even if you do not get any Chaos Waves, one Infernal Horde run with this Splinter equipped should still reward a good chunk of XP, especially if you aim for waves with a lot of Elites.

Goblin Chaos Waves Are Particularly Good

Not every Infernal Horde run will get the same results. If you are lucky enough to get a Goblin Chaos Wave, it is one of the best, since the large number of Treasure Goblins can really increase the Monster Power bonus by a lot.

Aether Lord Chaos Waves are another good one. Again, when setting up your War Plan, prioritise Chaos Wave options and Hellborne encounters to improve your chances of getting the right waves.

You should also coordinate your Soul Splinters. If everyone equips Abyssal Splinter of Damnation, enemies can become difficult to kill as Monster Power increases too much. So keep one strong player without the Splinter to clear enemies fast, and get the most out of the 25 seconds.

Do Not Forget the Forgotten Wisdom XP Buff

You can also add another experience bonus by completing a Nightmare Dungeon with the Forgotten Wisdom affix. These dungeons contain experience orbs dropped by enemies and an Experience Well that grants 15% bonus XP for one hour.

So basically, you want to:

  1. Complete a Nightmare Dungeon with the Forgotten Wisdom affix

  2. Equip a Abyssal Splinter of Damnation and grab one or more friends

  3. Set up your War Plan with the Total Chaos Node

  4. Farm Infernal Hordes and hope for Chaos Waves

  5. Once you are done, swap the player who wears the Splinter and start over

All of this combined is really one of the best ways to hit Paragon 300 pretty fast in Season 15.

Of course, do not expect every run to grant six levels.

Your results depend on the Chaos Waves you get, how quickly your group kills enemies, and how much Monster Power you can build up.

And if you do it right now and you get a Goblin wave, you can directly complete your March of the Goblin event reputation board.
