This Diablo 4 Undercity trick can shower you with Kullean Tuning Prisms

A Greater Tribute of Ingenuity can turn one Undercity run into a really good farming spot for Prisms.

Kullean Tuning Prism are one of the most annoying materials to get in Diablo 4 Season 15, especially if you are trying to perfect an amulet through Transfiguration. Thankfully, players have found a much better way to farm them! Kurast Undercity with the right Tribute and War Plan can let you accumulate as many prisms as you want.

A single run can already grant you quite a good amount, and you can push the rewards even further with Portal Pranksters.

How to Farm Kullean Tuning Prisms

The main ingredient is a Greater Tribute of Ingenuity.

Offer to theUndercity Spirit Brazier to enhance its rewards:
Earn Horadric Cube Materials at Attunement Rank 1.
Only usable in Torment Difficulties.
Kurast Undercity in Nahantu
DUNGEON AFFIXES
Reward Upgrades: Greater Horadric Cube Materials
Complete with Attunement Rank 1 or higher to earn a vast amount of Horadric Cube Materials.
Difficulty Increased: +2 Monster Power
Monster Power increased by +2.
Starting Time: 60 seconds
The initial time limit when you enter the Undercity.
Time Bonus Penalty: -35%
Less time is granted from Afflicted and floor transitions.
Potion Drop Penalty: -40%
Healing Potions drop less frequently.
Found randomly throughout Sanctuary.
Requires Level 1

This tribute increases Horadric Cube materials, so this is the one you want. Put it into the Kurast Undercity and, when offered the choice of Bargains, select the one that gives you Kullean Tuning Prism. The bargain currently costs 50 million Gold, so this is not exactly a free farm, but the resulting payout can make the investment worth it.

This method is particularly relevant right now because a recent hotfix fixed an issue where Horadric Cube crafting materials were not being properly rewarded by their associated Undercity Tributes. Players were reporting runs with zero Prisms before the fix, but everything drops properly again.

Do Not Skip the Portal Pranksters

You can get even more out of each run by setting up your War Plan for Portal Pranksters.

Take the left-side path:

  1. Endless Swarm

  2. Unfortunate Souls

  3. Gutter Filth

  4. Trials and Tributes

The important nodes are Gutter Filth and Trials and Tributes.

Gutter Filth gives Beacons in the Undercity a chance to spawn a Portal Prankster, and Trials and Tributes makes each Prankster you kill spawn an additional Tribute Chest after you defeat the District Boss.

That means you should not simply rush through the Undercity once you have filled your Attunement. Hit the Beacons you encounter and keep an eye on your minimap for Portal Pranksters. Kill every one you find, then defeat the District Boss to collect your main rewards and any additional Tribute Chests. You do need spare Tributes to open those extra chests, so just make sure you have enough. You can always use the Occultist to craft some more keys.

Why Should You Farm Kullean Tuning Prisms?

Kullean Tuning Prism are specifically used for amulet Transfiguration. Adding one to the Horadric Cube recipe gives the resulting amulet a random bonus Legendary Affix from the Utility Aspect pool, and it also keeps the item Modifiable, so you can keep rerolling the bonus Aspect until you get what you want (or run out of Prisms). This is why you need a good supply of Prisms.

And with the Undercity method now working properly again, those Prisms do not have to be quite as painful to find!
