Diablo 4's free Reliquary rewards are easy to miss if you hoard Favor

You can only hold 99 Favor Tokens, and the free Reliquary has Platinum waiting for you.

If you have been playing Diablo 4 Season 15 and completely ignoring the Reliquary because you did not buy the Battle Pass, you might want to check it anyway. Favor Tokens are capped at 99, and any additional Tokens you earn when you are sitting at the cap are simply wasted. The cap also applies if you are saving Tokens for a future season, so there is not much reason to let that counter sit at 99 if you still have free rewards you can grab.

The First Part of the Reliquary Is Free

A lot of players forget that there is an entire free Reliquary each Season. The free Season 15 Reliquary has some rewards that do not require you to spend any Platinum at all, including 200 Platinum. There are also other free cosmetics and rewards available through the same one.

So even if you have absolutely no interest in buying the Premium Reliquaries, it is worth opening the menu and spending those Tokens whenever you are getting close to 99. And even for those who own the full Reliquary, do not keep them just because you want to take everything at the same time. This will not work! You need to spend them regularly if you want to finish it on time.

Where Should You Farm Favor Tokens?

Favor Tokens are earned naturally by killing monsters and completing activities, and they are not linked to one specific piece of content. But if you want to farm them quickly, Infernal Hordes and Helltides are among the best activities for this because of their high monster density, so the Tokens just keep adding up!

So there is no need to stop whatever you are doing and specifically grind Favor for hours. Just make sure you are not sitting at 99 Tokens when you are doing it. That free Platinum is not going to unlock itself.
