Season 15 had its set of terrifying and rewarding bosses, but they are all locked behind pretty long questlines, such as the Lucky Coin one, Deckard's journals, or even the Cow Level. A lot of people probably did not even encounter them yet.
Diablo 4 Season 16 is about to give us a Lair Boss that seems a lot more dangerous. The Corrupted Reaper, who terrorized Sanctuary during Season of Death Awakening, is returning with some serious backup. The Fractured Reaper will join her in a new encounter that combines the abilities of both bosses.
Pandemonium's Dual Threat
Pandemonium's Dual Threat is a fight that you will most likely remember.
There is not a lot of information, so we have no idea about specific mechanics or anything like that. We will learn more during PTR.
But so far, we know that the two Reapers will work together to create a much deadlier encounter.
And Blizzard promises "epic" loot if you survive the fight.
So you will have to manage both bosses' mechanics at the same time. You can probably compare it to the 2 or more Lair bosses inside Nemesis Portals, or with the Prime Evils and Horadrim, since those also involve multiple bosses in the same fight.
When it comes to the exact difficulty, you can probably aim for T12, but we will have to wait for PTR to confirm this.
What Does Epic Loot Mean?
The other big question is what we will get for taking on this new challenge. The official post calls the loot epic, but that does not reveal much.
It makes it difficult to judge if the fight is worth it when compared to other endgame activities. Season 15 had powerful pinnacle fights with really good rewards, so players naturally wanted to complete those. Pandemonium's new challenge needs to be at least as rewarding to make it interesting.

Face Pandemonium’s Dual Threat
In Season of Death Awakening, the Corrupted Reaper terrorized Sanctuary. In Season 16, she brings reinforcements.
The Fractured Reaper will lend her strength to Pandemonium’s war against Sanctuary by merging her abilities with that of the Corrupted Reaper. You won’t have just the power of two formidable but separate lair bosses – you’ll have two eldritch powerhouses working together synergistically, abilities combining to annihilate all but the most powerful challengers.
The loot will be epic … but you’ll have to earn it!
