You have about eight weeks left in Diablo 4 Season 15, so here is when it ends
And no, Diablo 5 does not mean Season 16 is off the table.

Season 15 of Diablo 4 has been live since September 15. Blizzard has not announced an end date yet, but the in-game Reliquary timer points to December 1. Naturally, that would also be the day Season 16 launches.
The Expected Season 15 End Date
Diablo 4 seasons used to run for around 90 days, but the last one was a bit shorter. Season 14 started on June 30 and ended when Season 15 launched on September 15. That is 77 days, or exactly 11 weeks.
Seasons also (usually) start and end on a Tuesday, which leaves two realistic dates:
Tuesday, December 1, if Season 15 runs as long as Season 14
Tuesday, December 15, if it goes back to the classic 90-day cycle
Neither date is officially confirmed. Blizzard typically announces the exact end a few weeks ahead, around the time the next season gets revealed. However, given that Season 15 is really, really well received by the community and given the fact that there is a lot yet to discover, we would not be surprised if this season lasts a little longer than what the current in-game Reliquary states.
Where to Check the Countdown In-Game
The season end date used to show on the character select screen, but that disappeared when Reliquaries were introduced. The Reliquary still shows how many days are left in the season, and right now it says 55 days, which would mean December 1, 2026.

Season 16 Is Confirmed
Since Diablo 5 was announced during BlizzCon 2026, a lot of players are wondering if Diablo 4 is slowly going into maintenance mode. The developers confirmed that development continues after Season 15, though, with more seasons already planned. So all is well, in that regard.
The bigger change is how those seasons connect. Rather than just standalone seasonal questlines, Season 15 and the seasons after it continue the story that started in Season 14; the dead returning to Sanctuary and the Death Cult growing stronger. Basically, if you skipped the seasonal questline so far, it is worth catching up before Season 16, as the lore will likely get more intense from here on out.
Blizzard has not shared a name or theme for Season 16 yet.
You have around eight weeks until the season ends. Plenty of time to work through the Season Journey or Reliquary rewards without having to rush (unless you keep things for the final week), because anything seasonal you have not earned by then is gone.
