Diablo 4 might only get an hour at BlizzCon, but that is plenty to drop something big

A new Diablo 4 leak shows the game has only one hour scheduled on Saturday, so what is Blizzard planning?

You probably already saw the rumored BlizzCon 2026 schedule that was shared on Reddit a few days ago. If it is true, it means that Diablo 4 will not be getting nearly as much time as some of Blizzard's other games. That does not automatically mean it is bad news, of course, but you might want to get your expectations down when it comes to Diablo 4.

The schedule has not been confirmed by Blizzard, so take all of this with a grain of salt. But if the leak is accurate, Diablo 4 appears to have just one dedicated session on Saturday afternoon:

That is basically an hour. Compared to the amount of Warcraft content expected, Diablo 4 looks like a very small part of the event. Of course, an hour is still a long time to fill, but it might mean that there is not that much planned for the game.

So What Could Blizzard Show?

We already know Blizzard is holding back parts of Season 15 for BlizzCon, and the Witcher collaboration is also going to get details at the event.

So at minimum, there are two things Blizzard could cover in that hour. If each of those takes 30 minutes, it pretty much fills the event already. The safe bet would be a Season 15 reveal. Filling in what was not included in the PTR. That could mean the seasonal mechanic, new features, changes to systems compared to the PTR, and that is it.

For the Witcher crossover, we know about the confirmed Geralt-inspired skin linked to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past purchase, but Blizzard has said more details are coming at BlizzCon. But they could just reveal a simple Witcher-themed Reliquary, and that would not take much time.

An hour-long "What's Next" presentation could easily fit something bigger than a season reveal, but for now, there is really no confirmation on that. The same hour could be used for a Season 15 trailer, a look at the Witcher collaboration, multiple small announcements, or one big expansion reveal. The rumored schedule does not tell us much.

Other Games With Larger Presence

Even if Diablo only gets a very small section this year, BlizzCon still looks very interesting. You have Warcraft, Overwatch, and Hearthstone, and the more surprising part is StarCraft! There were already rumors not long ago about a new StarCraft game, so this might be an official reveal for it!

Either way, for now there is nothing confirmed, and we do not even know if this schedule is real. And if the leak is accurate, the titles and time slots do not tell us exactly what will be shown. Blizzard could spend ten minutes on Season 15, another ten on The Witcher, and then casually drop the next expansion trailer on everyone.

Everything is still possible, but we will only find out on September 12!
