Diablo 4 players have a plan to keep Legacy Dungeons after Season 15

The nostalgic mini-dungeons are so good that players want them to replace boring Cellars.

Diablo 4's Legacy Dungeons have been a fun addition to Season 15, and players do not want to see them disappear when the season ends. Blizzard could give them a permanent home by replacing existing Cellars with the Legacy Dungeons.

And when you think about it, it would be a pretty good idea!

Give Legacy Dungeons a Permanent Home

Most Cellars are currently little more than quick events, and many players do not bother with them. They reward nothing and are not exciting at all. Replacing those with Legacy Dungeons could give us a reason to check them out again, and Blizzard could keep content that would otherwise disappear after Season 15. If on top of that they add unique rewards or Legacy items to these activities, we would have plenty of reasons to go out of our way to explore those tiny dungeons every Season. And the longer Legacy Dungeons could become part of the Nightmare Dungeon rotation instead.

Everyone loves the Legacy content that came with this season, and no one wants to see it leave. It makes the game ten times more fun, and Legacy Dungeons are not the only content we want to keep:

  • Prime Evil capstone encounters are another example. Players suggested keeping them as they are, but offering easier versions as permanent side quests started through Deckard Cain.

  • Legacy Runes and Runewords could stay, with the possibility of obtaining them through these permanent activities.

And then there is one smaller request that might sound familiar to anyone who has tried the pop-up Legacy Dungeons... please stop teleporting us to town when we leave them.
