Diablo gets two main-stage BlizzCon panels, and more is still hidden
Two main-stage Developer Updates, a cinematics panel, and three free Diablo 4 weapons up for grabs.
Blizzard has just published the official BlizzCon 2026 schedule for all their panels! What is especially interesting to us is that Diablo fans have quite a bit more to watch than what the recently leaked schedule suggested.
So now, instead of one Diablo 4 panel on Saturday, the franchise has two dedicated main-stage sessions planned across the entire weekend. That might not sound like a lot at first, but it does give Diablo 90 minutes on the main stage, before we even count the Opening Ceremony or the extra program taking place elsewhere at the convention.
Main Diablo Panels and Times
If you just want to get a quick overview of when something Diablo-related that is not Immortal is being shown, here are the details:
Opening Ceremony (Stream on YT) on Saturday, September 12 at 10:30am PDT / 7:30pm CEST
Diablo: Developer Update on Saturday at 01:45pm PDT / 10:45pm CEST
The Art of Darkness: Behind Diablo IV's Cinematics at 04:15pm PDT / 01:15am CEST (Legends Stage, not Main Stage)
Diablo: Developer Update on Sunday, September 13 at 11:00am PDT / 8:00pm CEST
Both dedicated Diablo panels last 45 minutes. The Saturday panel will probably introduce all the new things, and the Sunday session gives the developers more time to explain it.
There is one more important detail, though. Both panels are listed under Diablo, not Diablo IV. Blizzard has not shared any statement or said how those 90 minutes will be divided between Diablo 4, Diablo Immortal, Diablo 2: Resurrected, or anything else connected to the franchise's 30th anniversary. In addition to the main panels, Blizzard has also planned a special anniversary session with CD Projekt Red on Sunday, where we will likely hear more about the recently announced Witcher crossover coming to Diablo 4.
Diablo IV is also confirmed to be playable on the show floor. There is also a rumored Switch 2 version of Diablo 4 that could be announced during the show.
Blizzard Might Not Have Shown Us Everything Yet
The schedule also still likely has a number of hidden entries. Blizzard has told viewers to check back after the Opening Ceremony for the fully updated version, so the current schedule is holding a few things back on purpose.
Only the Opening Ceremony, major panels, esports, and a few selected programs are guaranteed to be livestreamed. If you are watching from home, the two main-stage Diablo panels are the safest ones to plan around.
Three Diablo 4 Rewards Are Available During BlizzCon
The new viewership guide also confirms three Diablo 4 weapon rewards. If you watch eligible Diablo streams on Twitch or YouTube between September 12 and 15 for a specific amount of time, you can unlock:
Serrated Skean dagger after 2 hours
Corroded Cleaver axe after 4 hours
Tintinnabulation mace after 6 hours
All you have to do for this is to connect the platform you are watching on to your Battle.net account before you start.
The official schedule definitely looks much better for Diablo fans than the leak made it seem. Saturday gives us the announcements, Sunday gives us the follow-up, and Blizzard is still hiding part of the schedule until the show begins!
